Be A Woman Of Power

All day last Tuesday I was working on the manuals for my luxury retreat at Ste. Anne’s (http://www.sacredphysicality.com/ste-annes) for this weekend past and I got them to this point where they were… almost ready. I knew that there was something else that needed to happen so I decided to sleep on it.

There’s a whole science behind ‘why’ I decided to let my unconscious mind do the work while I slept, but let’s just say that we are most powerful when our conscious mind issues an order and then gets the heck out of the way – and sleeping is the best time to do this.

The next morning I woke up with inspiration pouring from my mind and hands. I knew *exactly* what I had to put in the Manual for my luxury retreat coming up this weekend: POWER.

I got up at 5:30 a.m., went downstairs, and created 3 powerful quotes to put into the manual and I added a new theme to the weekend.

Years ago (I think it was 2010), the Dalai Lama was at a conference in Vancouver and he said, "The world will be saved by the Western woman," and it caused a great deal of discussion. What did it mean?
He's a Buddhist monk so I would never assume I had *any* idea what is going on in that mind… wink emoticon … buuuuut, here's what it means for me:

We have the power to change the world. We have the power to create our world anew. But not when we are caught up in our victim, powerless, 'woe is me', 'I can't decide' stories.
It is only when we decide that we have all the permission we need and that we are good and that we are powerful that we can take powerful action, invest in ourselves, our businesses, and in creating the world that we want and make something amazing happen.

We are the women that the world has been waiting for.

And it doesn't matter where we come from. What matters is that we have claimed our power and begun to step into it. We won't be perfect and we will stumble and fail and fall and get back up again and keep walking forward toward our dreams of a new world.

And that is why it is so crucial to have a community of powerful women (and men!) who support us, cheer us on, and remind us to get our heads out of our butts when we need it.

So, the coaching gauntlet that I threw down for my women this past weekend was this: Just for this moment, be the powerful, divine, feminine goddess that you are and MAKE. A. DECISION.
