By the time the video finished, I was sobbing and smiling and reminded once again that we ALL struggle with not feeling like we are enough.
For some of us, it is a moment to moment battle, while for others it only rears it's ugly head when the going gets really tough.
Regardless of when it shows up, I've seen it enough in my coaching practice – tormenting the amazing women that I work with – to know that it is what we call a root. A core human wound.

Finding Stillness at the Solstice

How to Be In Your Body
Many of us spend our lives popping in and out of our bodies. Whenever there is an uncomfortable feeling we 'POP!' out and watch our body being uncomfortable. This has the benefit of consciously removing us from the discomfort – even if we aren't aware of doing it consciously.
It also has the very big disadvantage of abandoning our unconscious mind and body. This means we lose our access to what is actually happening inside of ourselves and in the world around us.
Coaching from a Spirit-Centred Place
But, right now, I'm heading into Day 6 of the NLP Coach Training and the joy and gratitude and courage and strength and passion of the women I am working with has left me speechless.
The 8-day training is designed to be an intensive. You get 4 Board Designations (coaching, NLP, hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy®) and that is a gruelling schedule. It's equivalent to 2 years of college… in just over a week.
Sowing Joy and Reaping Peace and Love
This season is sacred to me. I suppose they all are but Fall has always been my favourite. Now that I understand more about the energetics of the seasons – and the graceful way in which they cycle – I find that Fall moves me in quiet and deeply, profoundly, transformational ways.
